On December 1st of 2010 the Republic of Korea launched its own certification system of organic farming products (Certificate System – Food Industry Promotion Act). However, Korea extended the implementation of the old status until the end of 2013, when the new Certification system comes in place, it will make the import of organic products  time consuming and complicated. In this context, Q-CERT Ltd has requested to be recognized from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of Korea. Q-CERT Ltd is now listed as an approved Certification Body  (http://www.mfds.go.kr/index.do?mid=69&pageNo=1&cd=&cmd=v&seq=14708 )

That enables those companies certified in accordance with Regulation 834/2007 to export to Korea using the certificate granted by the Q-CERT Ltd.
