Dear Customers, 

It is our obligation to inform you that based on the FSSC 22000 Board of Stakeholders decision, all Certified Organizations shall be audited against the FSSC 22000 Scheme Version 6 starting May 1, 2027. 

FSSC 22000 V7 

In May 2029, version 7 of the FSSC 22000 standard was published by the Scheme Owner and all relevant information can be found in the link.

Please be sure that you become familiar with the new requirements, and you have done all appropriate changes to your management system. 

Important Notice: 

  • Audits against FSSC 22000 version 6 are allowed until April 30, 2027.  
  • Upgrade audits against FSSC 22000 Scheme Requirements V7 shall be conducted between 1st May 2027 and 30th April 2028. 
  • In the event that the transition is not carried out within the aforementioned time period, the certificate issued with version 6 will be automatically set to withdrawn from the standard database after June 30, 2028, and will not be visible in the public database of certified organizations on the FSSC 22000 website. 
  • Transition (upgrade) audits to the new version of the standard will be announced or unannounced audits. 

Transition (Upgrade) Audits. 

  • No additional onsite audit time is needed, but the new requirements of calculating audit time according to version 7 of the standard is followed. 

More Audit Information and Expectations based on the requirements of the new version of the standard will be available within the first four-month period of 2027 in our website.
