Q-CERT is pleased to announce the successful completion of the first witness audit conducted as part of the onboarding and qualification of our new certification partner, MERT-CERT, under the ISCC EU certification scheme. ✅
Where did the Witness Audit took place?
The witness audit took place at NITROGÉNMŰVEK ZRT., a Hungarian company in the agricultural sector, and covered certification activities in accordance with the ISCC EU scheme and the Revised Renewable Energy Directive (RED III). Following the successful assessment, the certification process was completed with the issuance of the ISCC EU certificate.
What Is a Witness Audit and why does it matter?
Witness audits play a vital role in ensuring that certification activities are performed consistently, impartially and in full compliance with applicable accreditation, scheme requirements and Q-CERT’s regulations.
