Under the directive issued by the National Accreditation System (ESYD), which is based on an IAF (International Accreditation Forum) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) document, with a set a time span of three years for the transition to the new versions of the standards, please be informed with the following:
- The expiry date of the validity of the old version of the standards is set for 15 September 2018. From that date onwards the certificates ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2004 will become invalid
- On the release date of the new version of the standards and until the aforementioned date (September 15, 2018) both versions are valid, and the corresponding certificates are absolutely equivalent.
- Audits and Certifications on the old version of the standards can be conducted until September 14, 2017. In this case, however, the certificates shall have an expiry date of September 15, 2018.
- Customers who have valid certificates of the previous version or to be certified according to what can be migrated to new versions of standards in carrying out during surveillance or recertification audits before the final date of validity of the standards (September 15, 2018) at the latest.
