  • New version 8 for BRC Global Standard for Food

    BRC Global Standards has published the eighth issue of its internationally recognized BRC Global Standard for Food on August 1, 2018, and audits against Issue 8 will begin on 1 February 2019. The major changes for version 8 are listed below: ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING The use of monitoring techniques within the factory is an important tool for identifying potential product contamination risks, especially risks associated with micro-organisms (both pathogens and spoilage organisms).   • Migration to ISO 45001

    On March 2018 the new standard ISO 45001:2018 which replaces the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard has been issued. Organizations using OHSAS 18001:2007 are recommended to take the following actions: Obtain a copy of ISO 45001. Identify the gaps in the OHSMS which need to be addressed to meet any new requirements. Develop an implementation plan. Ensure that any new competence needs are met and create awareness for all parties that have an impact on the effectiveness of the OHSMS.   • Mandatory transition to new ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 standards

    We would like to inform you that, according to IAF (International Accreditation Forum) decision(1), starting from March 15, 2018 surveillance audits shall also be conducted against the requirements of the new ISO 9001 (ISO 9001:2015) & ISO 14001 (ISO 14001:2015) standards. Otherwise, the Certification Body is obliged to withdraw the organization’s certificate.   • NEW EDITION OF THE FSSC 22000 STANDARD

    In July 2017 the new version of the Standard (FSSC 22000 version 4.1) was published on the FSSC 22000 official website. The implementation of the new issue is mandatory for all certified organizations from January 1st, 2018. From that date on, all audits (surveillance, certification, recertification) will be carried out against the new requirements.   • Participation in the 33rd Meeting of Notified Body LIFT

    Q-CERT participated in the 33rd Meeting of Notified Body LIFT, in Brussels, on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st May 2014. Q-CERT was the only one Greek Notified Body present to the meeting. Lifts Directive recast, Lifts Directive issues and other important topics were at the Agenda.

  • Participation in the Seminar Program of LiftBalkans 2014

    Q-CERT participated in the Seminar Program of LiftBalkans 2014 in 7 March 2014. LiftBalkans 2014 is part of the South-East European Exhibition on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Leading companies from Austria, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Greece, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, the Netherlands and Ukraine showcased products and innovations.
